Our Secretariat

Tibor Nagy

Secretary-General

My name is Tibor and I'm honored to be your Secretary-General for HenMUN XI! I'm a student of the Lerner College of Business at the University of Delaware and study Business Management and Management Information Systems. Although I'm pursuing a career that's not directly related to International Relations, the subject is one that's close to my heart. I've been involved in Model United Nations since High School, where I was one of the founding members of our Model UN team. When I arrived at the University of Delaware, I discovered HenMUN as a freshman and knew instantly that this was the club for me. I was a crisis director my first year, a chair my second, and was made Under-Secretary General of the Specialized Agencies's last spring. For the three-plus years that I've participated here, I've strived to create the best Model United Nations experience out there. Each committee at HenMUN provides both an educational and social experience. Here, delegates can hone their parli-pro and debate skills in realistic committees while enjoying a fun long weekend away from home. One of the most rewarding things about being a HenMUN volunteer is knowing that your work has encouraged many incoming freshmen to grow their skills further as fellow students here at the University of Delaware. I'm looking forward to HenMUN XI and can't wait to see you all soon!

Esha Shah

Director of Business and Hospitality

Hey everyone! I’m Esha and after being an AD for UNFCCC during HenMUN VIII, I am so excited to serve as your Director of Business and Hospitality this year. I am a sophomore in the Honors Program, double majoring in Public Policy and Communications with minors in Legal Studies, Global Health, and Educational Studies. I am also a World Scholar, a four year comprehensive global engagement program, which allowed me to study abroad my first semester of freshman year in Rome, Italy. I plan to travel to Sydney, Australia in the fall of my junior year. My other involvements include being on the executive board for UD Alternative Breaks, March for Our Lives, and Student Alumni Ambassadors, along with other organizations. I have been a part of MUN since freshman year of high school, participating in local conferences, like HenMUN and regional conferences in Hershey, PA. I have always believed that coming together for conferences like HenMUN is a vital step towards creative positive change for our world. Looking forward to a successful HenMUN IX!
Stephanie Gabriel

Director of Operations

Stephanie is a senior at the University of Delaware studying History from Washington, Pennsylvania. She first got involved with Model UN during her freshman year of high school and has loved it ever since. After serving as the JCC AD for HenMUN VIII, Stephanie is thrilled to take on the role of Director of Operations for HenMUN IX! On top of Model UN, you can find Stephanie as the president of The Artists’ Network Initiative at UD and volunteering with her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. Stephanie has studied abroad in London, England during winter session 2019. After graduation, Stephanie hopes to get her Master’s Degree in Social Studies Education to become a teacher. She can’t wait for her last HenMUN to be the best yet!
