Community Engagement Initiative
The Partnership for Healthy Communities (PHC) is one of five partnerships of the Community Engagement Initiative (CEI).
In 2015, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching designated UD as a community engaged university, leading to the creation of the Community Engagement Initiative (CEI) in 2017. . CEI is charged with prime responsibility for carrying out the University of Delaware Civic Action Plan, the University’s strategic vision for community engagement.
