Dear Students,
After 50 years at the University of Delaware, Dr. David Barlow has retired as Director of the Center for Health Profession Studies. Our Center is incredibly grateful for the many years of leadership and mentorship Dr. Barlow provided to students, staff, faculty, and the surrounding Delaware community. Dr. Barlow dedicated his career to fostering student success in the health professions and he provided guidance to many students who are now practicing physicians, physical therapists, physician assistants, and more. Dr. Barlow truly impacted the University of Delaware community with his passion of investing in future healthcare leaders. We will miss his presence at the Center for Health Profession Studies, but we wish him a well deserved and restful retirement.
Dr. Saskia Richter, current Assistant Professor and Medical Scholars Program Director, will be serving as Interim Director of the Center for Health Profession Studies over this next academic year.
