Jefferson’s Physician Shortage Area Program (PSAP) offers an opportunity for recruitment, training, and support of medical students interested in rural practice. While primary care is the greatest area of medical need for rural PA an DE, other specialties will also be considered for PSAP. Priority is given to applicants from PSAP Cooperative undergraduate institutions which includes UD.

Lori’s Hands is hosting a Spring Clean Up service event coming up on Saturday, April 13th from 9am-12pm. The event will kick off with a brief orientation and then we’ll break out into small groups and head out to local residents’ homes to provide a couple of hours of outdoor assistance.
During the event, we’ll be helping with planting flowers, weeding, bringing out outdoor furniture, etc. to help folks prepare for summer! Our initial meeting location will be at the STAR Tower on University of Delaware’s campus (100 Discovery Blvd, Newark, DE 19713) in the courtyard right next to the building. Snacks, water, and gardening gloves (to borrow) will be available!
