AWARD: The SCGSR program supports supplemental awards to outstanding U.S. graduate students to conduct part of their graduate thesis research at a DOE national laboratory in collaboration with a DOE laboratory scientist for a period of 3 to 12 consecutive months—with the goal of preparing graduate students for scientific and technical careers critically important to the DOE Office of Science mission.

American Research Institute in Turkey (ARIT) NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE HUMANITIES ADVANCED FELLOWSHIPS FOR RESEARCH IN TURKEY Award: The American Research Institute in Turkey takes pleasure in inviting applications for one to three advanced fellowships made possible by support from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The fields of study cover all periods of history in the general range of the humanities and include humanistically oriented aspects of the social sciences, prehistory, history, art, archaeology, literature, and linguistics, as well as interdisciplinary aspects of cultural history. The fellowships for research in Turkey may be held for four to twelve continuous months during 2015-2016. Stipends in the range of $16,800 to $50,400 are available on the basis of individual proposals. |

Belgian American Educational Foundation Belgian American Educational Foundation Fellowship Award: The Belgian American Educational Foundation (B.A.E.F.) encourages applications for fellowships for advanced study or research during one academic year, at a Belgian University or institution of higher learning. The B.A.E.F. will award up to nine fellowships each carrying a stipend of $26,000 for one year. |

American Council of Learned Socieites Henry Luce Foundation/ACLS Dissertation Fellowship in American Art Award: ACLS invites applications for the Henry Luce Foundation/ACLS Dissertation Fellowships in American Art designated for graduate students in any stage of PhD dissertation research or writing. Ten fellowships are available for a non-renewable, one-year term beginning between June and September 2015 for the 2015-16 academic year. The fellowships may be carried out in residence at the fellow’s home institution, abroad, or at another appropriate site for the research. The fellowships may not be used to defray tuition costs or be held concurrently with any other major fellowship or grant. |

Microsoft Graduate Women’s Scholarship Program Award: The Microsoft Research Graduate Women’s Scholarship is a one-year scholarship program for outstanding women graduate students and is designed to help increase the number of women pursuing a PhD. This program supports women in the second year of their graduate studies. Women who are interested in this scholarship must apply during first year of graduate studies. Scholarships are granted by Microsoft Research at the discretion of Microsoft. The scholarship recipient award includes US$15,000 for the 2015–2016 academic year. |
