Spain: Back In Granada

Submitted by Kiera McNeil on the 2018 fall semester study abroad program in Granada, Spain…

I just got back from a trip to Morocco this weekend and I am so sad to say it is over!! I love how easy it is to travel while studying abroad in Spain as  I have hundreds of new cities to see within just a plane/ bus ride away. In Morocco, I got to see two big cities: Tanger and Chefchauen. Both were very different, but equally beautiful. I loved Chefchauen because EVERYTHING was blue (buildings, streets, taxis), it was like it was out of a movie. Although it was fun to see a glimpse of such a different lifestyle in Africa, it feels good to be back home in Spain. Since most people in Morocco only speak Arabic or French,  it was such a relief to hear anyone that spoke in Spanish. Its crazy how comfortable I am getting with speaking Spanish!
