This past week in Australia has been one for the books. Upon arriving on New Year’s Day, a bunch of girls got together and we ventured to St. Kilda Beach. Throughout the week, I have explored some amazing places in Melbourne. As a class, we took a trip to Science Works where we visited the planetarium and their pumping station to learn more about fluid mechanics. We also took a trip to Brighton Beach where we were all able to snap some cool pictures in front of the iconic bathing boxes. Towards the end of the week, I went into the city to the Botanical Gardens. I was amazed at how many different species of plants, trees and flowers I saw there. So far the program has been unforgettable and I am excited to make more memories here.
