The Panhellenic Council, located in 201 Perkins, serves as the governing body for the University of Delaware’s National Panhellenic Conference sororities. Member delegates serve as role models, dedicated to uphold good scholarship and high standards of ethical conduct, while promoting friendship, harmony, and unity among members, chapters, faculty, administration and campus groups. You will receive updates about opportunities to join chapters who are recruiting, upcoming events and information about Formal Recruitment.
Chapter Recruitment Officers
If you extend a bid for membership to a woman and she accepts, she must complete the NPC Continuous Open Bidding Membership Acceptance Binding Agreement and Grade Release found on our Find a Form page. It must be turned in to the Panhellenic Recruitment mailbox in 201 Perkins within one (1) business day of being signed. Women should only be offered bids after they register with Fraternity and Sorority Leadership & Learning and their eligibility is confirmed.
Formal Recruitment 2022
February 11-14 and February 18-21, 2022
Registration will open November 30th and close February 7th at noon.
We highly suggest waiting to register until fall semester final grades are posted.
There is a registration fee of $85 and is non-refundable regardless of eligibility, membership selection, or attending recruitment. The fee covers costs related to facility rental, t-shirt (worn by PNM’s during recruitment), and supplies.
To be eligible to participate in Formal Recruitment, a woman must have a 2.5 cumulative college GPA and earned 12 credit hours (no exceptions are made for either requirement). Winter Session 2021 credits and grades will not be included toward determining eligibility for participation in recruitment. This policy is supported by UD’s Office of the Dean of Students and the Division of Student Life.
Transfer students: If you do not have a UD GPA, transcripts showing GPA and credit hours must be submitted from your most recent previous institution. The same requirements of having at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and at least 12 earned credit hours apply. Transcripts can be submitted via email (with screenshots) to firstname.lastname@example.org. PNM Orientation 2022
All women registered for formal recruitment are required to attend PNM Orientation on the evening of Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
You will be notified of the session and time you are supposed to attend by your Recruitment Counselors prior to orientation.
*If you are unable to attend the session you are assigned, you may attend the other session. If you are unable to attend either session, please email email@example.com so that we can give you your Recruitment Counselors’ contact information.
