Center for Intercultural Engagement: Perkins Student Center

Square Feet

Project Highlights

The project will renovate the former Center for Counseling on the second floor of the Perkins Student Center as the University’s new Center for Intercultural Engagement to support the University’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The Center for Intercultural Engagement Project will identify physical space where students can interact, explore, grow together around social justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. The project will look at ways to enhance student engagement, support cross-functional services and programs, and increase cultural celebration of identities and experiences. (J. Riera, Dean of Students, University of Delaware)
