Hi, everyone.  It’s been a good start to the summer so far.  I have three things to point out:

1. Please use the computer on the back desk to check-in all items.  I know you can use the front computer for this but if you don’t use the back computer periodically (like to check in items), then the computer “times out” and has to be started over again.  So, please use both the front and back check-in/check-out computers during your shift.
2. We need more weekend coverage.  Please look and sign up for more weekend days.  Each day should have 2 students covering it.
3. Remember the library will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th!  Enjoy the day off.  Have fun and stay safe!

We have 3 new student assistants this summer so when you see them, say Hi!  They are: Jackie Diehl, Tom Smith and Vanessa Monsalve.  Welcome!  We have 2 returning students: Brendan Keating and Brenna Zonick-Wooten. Thanks, folks!  And that is our summer crew! New folks, feel free to ask lots of questions of staff or our returning students.

I know everyone has signed up for weekends but the schedule still looks pretty sparse so take a look at it and see what other weekend days you can work.  We have to have 2 students for each weekend day.
