Tiradentes 1/20

Published on: Author: katelynp

Today we were given the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Tiradentes since it was a free day. We spent the morning sketching in the city where we got to observe the city buildings, which reminded us of Spanish architecture. After that we got to sit and enjoy the sparkling blue pool and take in the hot sun. While we were in Tiradentes there was a movie festival going on, so the entire city was crowded at night with different films which were projected onto a screen. There were many restaurants that surrounded the screen, so it was nice to be able to eat dinner and relax while people watching and seeing how the towns people interact. There were many stray dogs in this town and it was hard to resist petting them, since we did not know where they came from. One of our fellow classmates Brian loves animals, etc. and decided to befriend some of the dogs where they would not leave him alone since all they really cared about was food. This town was very interesting and offered a lot of diversity that differed from Rio! -Katelyn & Connor
