Sponsor Description:
The American Amputee Soccer Association (AASA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and developing the sport of amputee soccer, with a mission to provide individuals with limb differences the opportunity to engage in competitive soccer while fostering a sense of community, empowerment, and athletic excellence. As amputee soccer continues to grow, it is imperative that biomechanical research is conducted building towards an equitable environment for athletes with disabilities to achieve their potential in sport by improving both performance and health outcomes in the sport.

Project Goal Statement:
The goal of the project is to design a device that provides surrogate measurements for biomechanical forces on the upper extremities during amputee soccer, to improve baseline knowledge of sport-related physical demands.
