Through community engagement, students become active citizens and recognize that what they learn in their courses can improve the communities where they live and work.  The undergraduate experience cultivates student engagement and prepares graduates for the world they will enter through increased opportunities for integrating curricular and co-curricular community engagement activities into academic programs; students gain increased understanding of post-college career and academic paths focused on the public good.

The graduate student experience provides students with the ability to incorporate community engagement into their current and future teaching, research and creative activities, and service projects.
