Housed under the Community Engagement Initiative, the Office of Service Learning provides information about service-learning opportunities at the University of Delaware (UD). It supports and advises faculty interested in enhancing and developing service-learning courses, students interested in pursuing community engagement projects, and community partners interested in exploring connections with UD.

Students

The Service-Learning Scholars program provides highly motivated students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a service-learning or community-based research project for ten weeks during the summer in a setting outside of the classroom.

The Service-Learning Fellows program provides an opportunity for funded research during the academic year, inquire about the Service Learning Fellows program by contacting Susan Serra.
