BEN Educational Benefits
There are a variety of Educational Benefits to utilize:

1.   Delaware Cooperative Tuition Exchange (PDF Format) – For full-time employees (only).  One course per semester/session at Delaware Technical and Community College or Delaware State University.
2.   Delaware Student Fee Privilege – For dependents (only) of full-time employees.  Provides an opportunity to apply for a Tuition Waiver at Delaware Technical and Community College.  Dependent must be a full-time matriculated Del Tech student.
3.   Course Fee Waiver – For full or part-time benefitted employees (only).  You may take one or two courses each semester or session, at the University of Delaware.  Benefits may be transferred to a spouse or dependent child.

** If you are asking for Release Time from your job (taking classes during your regular work hours), you must put Dr. Scott Stevens in as an approver.  If this is the case, send Dr. Stevens an email informing him that the form needs approval.  As you can imagine, he receives many Web Forms and these should be approved fairly quickly.  If you are NOT asking for Release Time from your job, do NOT put Dr. Stevens in as an approver.  You need no approver if you are not asking for release time from your job.**

4.   Tuition Exchange Program (TEP) – For dependent child(ren) of full-time employees who have a minimum of two years of eligible University service.  While not a guaranteed benefit, TEP provides an opportunity for a scholarship toward full-time study at another college or university.
5.   Tuition Remission – Form you submit for your dependent student.  The dependent must be a full-time matriculated University of Delaware student.
