The IELTS Preparation course develops students’ test taking skills for the IELTS examination.
Course objectives include:
- Familiarize students with the format and directions of the test;
- Familiarize and practice with the types of questions that are asked in each section;
- Develop the English language skills that are necessary to be successful on the test.
Emphasis is placed on reading and the tested reading tasks; listening comprehension; addressing the speaking prompts; and special emphasis is placed on appropriately responding to the IELTS writing task 1 – a data commentary.
We use exercises that are designed to develop specific areas of English and test taking skills, as well as through practice IELTS tests.
