What must I do to finish Graduate CAP and start full-time graduate studies?
Before beginning their regular university coursework for their graduate (master’s or doctoral) degree, Graduate CAP students must first satisfy certain English language and pre-academic requirements by studying at the ELI.
Graduate CAP students must meet requirements in several categories, including:

- Additional requirements from the graduate department
- Effort score
- CAP Cohort
- Attendance
- Academic Honesty
All of these requirements must be met in the Graduate CAP students’ final session in order for them to begin their full-time university coursework.
Requirements by track of study
The specific requirements that must be met depend on which graduate program you will attend.
- Students in the most graduate Business programs (except Finance) must meet requirements in the “Business Track” | Learn more
- Students in all other types of graduate programs will follow the “General Track” | Learn more
If you are not sure which requirements that you must meet, contact your CAP Academic Advisor at CAPadvisor@udel.edu.
