No Classes Monday for Martin Luther King Day

On Monday, January 16, the University of Delaware will be CLOSED (including the ELI!) and there will be no classes in remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

He was an American Baptist minister and activist who was a leader in the Civil Rights Movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience based on his Christian beliefs.
