ELI creates a new Office for Recruitment, Marketing, and Communications

The ELI is restructuring its Admissions Office to create two specialized departments.

We are delighted to announce some important changes happening within the ELI’s Administrative Team this fall.

For many years, the ELI Admissions Office has been responsible for recruiting and admitting students, as well as marketing communications, certain aspects of sponsor relationship management, visa advising/liaising with OISS, and various elements of student records management. As the ELI grew, so did the Admissions Team and the volume of work it has managed.

One of the benefits of the changes in enrollment that the ELI has experienced over the past year is that we are in a position to re-evaluate our processes and the distribution of our work volume. By doing this, the ELI will be better able to achieve its recruitment and enrollment objectives by improving efficiency in both areas (i.e., Admissions and Recruitment), while maintaining the high level of service that we are known for providing to our internal and external clients.

With this in mind, we have decided to restructure the ELI Admissions Office, separating it into two departments:

  • The ELI Admissions Office
  • The ELI Office for Recruitment, Marketing, and Communications (ORMC)

Announcing the ELI ORMCWe believe that these changes will have a positive impact on many aspects of the ELI’s operations and, ultimately, it is our hope that these efforts will result in growth in enrollment and in the diversity of our student population.
