In Spring, 2015, students in Sociology 471 Disaster, Vulnerability, and Development  undertook an ambitious class project. Their goal was to better understand the Ebola Crisis that significantly affected several West African countries and brought world-wide attention to the health crisis as the disease spread to other countries. Students conducted research and interviewed dozens of practitioners and researchers, as well as people with close ties to the West African community. If you are interested in listening to this class project and joining us at 10:10am on May 18th for a Q & A with the students, contact Professor Tricia Wachtendorf for more details. At this point, given the educational goal of the project, the podcast will be available only to those who will be in attendance at the discussion section.
