Building on the group’s previous biaryl work, Raphael, Lebo, Jacob, Derek, and Catherine have recently published a highly cross- and atroposelective coupling between ortho-(chloro)arylphosphine oxides and ortho-(bromo)aryl ethers to generate MOP-type ligands in the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
