CALLING ALL DANCERS!!!

Dark Arts Performing Dance Company is on the prowl for new members who love to dance. We are looking for dancers who are dedicated, hard-working, and who have skills in all or some of the following dance genres: hip hop, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, African, Latin, ballet & tap.

During tryouts you will be learning 3 dances: a jazz dance, a hip hop dance, and a lyrical dance.  After learning and performing the last piece, each dancer will be called in for an individual interview and the last chance performance of any of the 3 learned pieces or his or her own choreographed routine (it must be no longer than 2 minutes).

It will be a long day of dancing, so come prepared

WHAT TO BRING

– comfortable dance clothes

– snacks/lunch

***AUDITIONS ARE HELD AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH FALL SEMESTER. ***

INTERESTED IN JOINING?

Every fall semester we hold an interest meeting for all prospects. We discuss the expectations of a Dark Arts member, we talk about the different events that we have throughout the school year and when practice will be held, and at the very end of the meeting, we show videos of some of our performances.
