Orthopaedic Soft Tissue Mechanics Lab
Studies in our lab investigate the structure-function relationships in musculoskeletal soft tissues like tendons and ligaments. Specifically, we are interested in learning about how these relationships change during skeletal growth, and how these changes inform the native function of the musculoskeletal system. With approaches bridging across models and into non-invasive human testing, we are able to develop tools and interventions that will improve outcomes from clinical interventions in young patients.
