TV isn’t for everyone. Working in TV, that is.
But TV was for Dr. Lydia Reeves Timmins for nearly two decades before she joined the COMM Department faculty last fall. Most recently she worked as a news producer in Philadelphia and covered everything from 9/11 in N YC to fires, murders, and sports – in a pinch.
Now Dr. Timmins not only teaches our students about the “inverted pyramid” of journalism and how to white balance a camera, but she’s blogging about it all for the RTDNA (Radio Television Digital News Association).
