Anders presented a poster, “Longitudinal Analysis of Bacterial Communities in Two Types of Concrete Cylinders”, at the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting 2018 in Washington D.C. 

Archana successfully defended her thesis, “Physiological Characterization of Light-Enhanced Growth in Actinobacteria” and graduated from the Masters Program in the Department of Biology! Congratulations to her on all her hard work.

UDaily highlighted work being done by Mike Rechsteiner (undergraduate research fellow) and Christine Chapman, in collaboration with Paul Imhoff’s lab group.
