This project began as a desire to create emotional intelligence training modules and team activities for a workplace environment. However, after attending the Diversity & Inclusion Issue Corps Designathon, I realized the need for emotional intelligence extends out towards all environments and in all populations. Being more self-aware and more aware of those around us is needed and would be beneficial whether we are working with other staff, with students, in the community or even with our own families and friends. While the bulk of the modules created here are intended for workplace training and “lunch-n-learn” opportunities, they are adaptable for many types of groups and in some cases just to complete as an individual.
