In collaboration the Institute for Global Studies, the Confucius Institute will jointly present a series of Hao You Nights (好友之夜) activities featuring Chinese culture elements, fun games and tasty food. Bring a friend or come solo but definitely attend, and have fun! Win prizes for participation!
The program takes place at the lower lounge in the iHouse (Kent Hall) and is open to all World Scholars and students who live in the residence hall on the South Green.

Get outside and move in this magical exercise form combining Chinese folk, classical and modern dances. You don’t need any background in dance to participate. Just come and enjoy the exercises. Meet on the Green in front of iHouse.
Chinese Calligraphy

Using a special brush and rice paper, learn the basics of calligraphy and write a few simple Chinese characters. Meet in the iHouse Lounge, lower level.
Chinese Dumpling Celebration

Dare to challenge your taste buds? Close out the end of the semester with your iHouse friends. Make Chinese dumplings and taste a special selection of Chinese snack and food. Feel free to bring other homemade dishes to share with others. Location to be announced.
