Confucius Institute at the University of Delaware is proud to announce the winner of the photo contest!
The photo contest on September 27, 2014 for Confucius Day at the University of Delaware was a great success! With nearly 40 photo entries, participants found it difficult to choose a winner among the wonderful pictures! But finally the votes were tallied, and the competition victor was decided!
Congratulations to Michael Luck! Your photos were voted number one!
Final Competition results:
1st Prize: Michael Luck
“This was a great memory. This little boy had a few minutes to play after I asked his mother for a picture. We played hide and seek at the Summer Palace. When I jumped out from behind a pillar, he was surprised and I captured this look. Combined with the cookie crumbs on his chin, you would think he was caught being naughty. The combination of cuteness and composition makes this one of my favorite photos.”
2nd Prize: John Polk
“Potala Palace, Lhasa, Xizang”
3rd Prize: David Cannon
“Shanghai at nighttime!”
As a prize, the final contestants will receive a gift card from their teacher! The first place gift card will be a $30 value, while second and third prizes are gift cards valued in $20 and $10 respectably.
Congratulations again to the winners! And thank you for your support and participation!
