Earth Science Week and Earth Observation Day

Since October 1998, the American Geosciences Institute (AGI) has organized this week of events to help the public gain an appreciation for the Earth sciences and to encourage stewardship of the Earth. Earth Science Week offers opportunities to discover the Earth sciences and engage in responsible stewardship of the Earth. Keep up to date with Earth Science Week events and opportunities here

Earth Observation Day

Earth Observation Day (EOD) is a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education and outreach event sponsored by AmericaView to celebrate the Landsat program and its continuous space-based record of the surface of the Earth since 1972. Each year AmericaView produces an educational game that highlights how satellite imagery keeps us knowledgeable about what is happening in the world around us.  All of the AmericaView EOD Game posters can be downloaded here
