Partnerships

This project is developing a unique new Blue Economy Tech Center partnership between academia and commercial entities and will use multiple autonomous systems (surface, subsurface, and aerial) to carry out the combined development and testing of autonomous systems focused on addressing needs related to the environment, energy, ecosystems, and climate change, while promoting economic development, workforce development, and career training.

Interdisciplinary, Multi-University, Public and Private Partnerships are Critical for its Success

Project ABLE includes researchers from multiple universities and from many disciplines — environmental robotics, remote sensing, mechanical engineering, coastal oceanography, eco-entrepreneurship, and more — together with a host of partners from commercial and state and federal agencies.
