We’re concluding courses from fall 2012 through summer 2017: What does that mean for you?

Time to read: 3 minutes

The first annual conclusion of Canvas sites for catalog courses is scheduled for August 2022 and will include catalog course sites from fall 2012 through summer 2017. This new process will help faculty and students to clear old courses out of their All Courses list. Remember, you will not be able to access these sites after they are concluded to obtain course content, student submissions, or grading information.

Read on to learn how to prepare for the conclusion of your old Canvas courses.

What’s New: An update on the UDIT Educational Technology Survey

Time to read: 1 minute

Several weeks ago, UDIT sent out a survey requesting faculty input on educational technology. Approximately 25% of faculty invited to participate have responded. The results supplied UDIT with a great deal of information and, overall, the feedback has been positive. We are analyzing the results and will provide faculty a more detailed summary in the coming weeks.

If you responded to the survey, thank you! If you provided your email, we may contact you directly to capture more details about your comments and specific tool usage.

Read more about the survey results and how you can still provide your feedback.

A new icon maker in the rich content editor, emojis in comments, a confetti celebration for student on-time submissions – all are now available to instructors and students in Canvas.

Don’t miss out on these new interface features.
