Are you ready for fall?

  • Zoom has recently added and updated many features that will help instructors engage students and manage hybrid or hyflex classes including chat options, chimes for raised hands, immersive screen views, reaction emojis, advanced screen sharing options, and breakout room options.
  • Check out the latest integrated tools in Canvas for fall including Perusall, Google Assignments, Poll Everywhere, Respondus for Assessments, and Yellowdig Engage.
  • Join us for Keep Calm and Teach On (KCTO) where you’ll receive an orientation to classroom spaces and learn how to connect your laptop to display equipment, operate new technologies, and access tech support. You’ll also gain additional insights regarding how to effectively use classroom technology to better support your students as you return to campus. Open house sessions are available on Tuesday and Thursday from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. in Willard 116. Learn more and sign up at the KCTO site.
  • To learn more about Zoom, classroom orientations, or Canvas integrated tools, faculty may attend the related Keep Calm and Teach On (KCTO) workshop session or visit the Virtual Welcome Bar Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Helping your students prepare for fall

  • As you may be receiving questions about what information is being communicated to students, please be aware that the Tech at UD website has been updated for the fall semester. The website is the one-stop source of information for students with technology questions. This site covers all of the major tools, as well as ONEcard services, software, and printing.
