Zoom Rooms

Zoom rooms has been setup to provide Video Teleconference capabilities allowing people to attend meetings from another Zoom Room, a computer or mobile device.  If you would like your zoom meeting to occur in one of the Zoom Rooms below make sure the check “Enable join before host” option when scheduling the meeting.  Alternatively ask to make your meeting a Zoom meeting when booking the room.

Zoom Rooms has been configured in the following rooms:

Townsend Hall:

  • Room 107
  • Room 156
  • Room 256

Paradee Center (Dover):

  • Room 122 – Conference room
  • Room 109/110 – Training room

NCC Extension Office:

  • Room 144- Training Room
  • Room 132 – Conference Room

Zoom Room Guide:

  • Turn on Projector/TV screens. Turn Projector/TV Screens off when finished.

  • iPad Kiosk-choose one of the four options from the Menu on the left-hand side.
  • “Meet Now” — starts an instant Zoom meeting. Invite other participants through the kiosk from list of Contacts under “Search” on iPad.

  • “Meeting List” —  starts a Zoom Meeting scheduled to the Zoom Room. Press Start.

  • “Join” — Meeting ID (number) to join scheduled Zoom meeting that has not previously been sent to the Zoom Room appointment.

  • “Presentation” — connects a computer or mobile device for screen sharing during a face-to-face (non-zoom) meeting.

  • “Phone” — currently not an option.
  • Meeting Controls:
  1.   Mute room microphone
2.   Turn off room video
3.   Share content from laptop or mobile device4.   Change video display layout:
-Speaker view shows active speaker
-Gallery view shows all attendees in a grid
5.   Control camera settings
6.   Manage Participants
-Mute or unmute
-Lock meeting
-Grant host control
-Allow record
-Remove Participants
7.   Invite by contacts, email or room system
8.   Start recording to cloud
9.   Leave (end) meeting
10.  Adjust audio volume
