8.7 Video Conferencing

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources supports the use of interactive, Polycom and web based technologies for meetings and to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

8.7.1 Zoom:

Zoom is the College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences supported web conferencing application that provides the delivery of real-time course lectures and meetings. Users need to install Zoom apps to host or to participate in the sessions. Zoom allows the delivery of rich content, including streaming audio, video, document sharing and software demonstrations. There is also a recording feature that allows for later review and archiving of Zoom Meetings.

8.7.2 Accessing Zoom

UD purchased a site licenses for Zoom. All UD Faculty, Staff and Students have access to the license through udel.zoom.us

Faculty, staff and students who are interested in hosting for webinars or meetings should contact CANR IT

8.7.3 Recommended Equipment:

  • Recommended headsets include the Logitech H390 and H150.
  • Recommended webcams include the Logitech c525 and C920.
  • Recommended USB conferencing microphones are the Phoenix MT202 and the MXL AC-404.

Zoom Rooms is also available to host meetings in select rooms
