Sarah joined the Sparks lab as a master’s student in Fall 2018. She grew up in NJ, helping her dad grow flowers and vegetables, especially tomatoes. She attended Grove City College and chose to study biology. It was in a Plant Taxonomy class where she realized her true passion for studying plants. However, the research she was involved in led her to research technician job in the medical field for almost three years. She is excited to be back in her chosen field, pursuing her dreams. When Sarah is not in lab, you can find her hiking, reading a good book, or being extremely silly with her sisters.
