Urban Forest Ecology Research Assistant
Position Description
The Trammell Urban Forest Ecology Lab in the Plant and Soil Sciences Department has multiple positions available for undergraduate research assistants starting March 15, 2020 continuing through August 2020. The research project requires occasional field work throughout the spring semester leading up to a full-time summer position. The undergraduate research assistants will   participate in a long-term urban forest ecology project, the FRAME (FoRests Among Managed Ecosystems). The 2020 research project entails vegetation and soil sampling in 38 forest sites across the region. Desired qualifications include: plant identification skills and a strong desire to work in local forests.
