Proper storage of poultry litter is a best management practice that helps retain nutrients in the manure to benefit crop production and protect the environment. This fact sheet details the approved methods for construction, maintenance, siting, and removal of litter in that is temporarily field staged in Delaware. Upon completion of this module, you will be able to temporarily stage poultry litter in the field prior to land application in compliance with the Delaware Nutrient Management Law.
