The webinar “Legume Nitrogen Credits,” is presented by Dr. Douglas Beegle, Professor Emeritus of Penn State’s Department of Plant Science.  Dr. Beegle offers information on how to best predict and manage nitrogen availability for crops,  despite the complexity of the nitrogen cycle. (Note, there is some static in the audio track around the 42-45 minute mark.)

Upon completion of  this webinar you will learn:

  1. How much nitrogen soil organic matter will supply in a given growing season.
  2. How much residual nitrogen will be provided from a previous alfalfa or soybean crop.
