The Junior Board is composed of youth from around the state to develop communication skills, increase volunteerism, and provide Delaware youth with an educational and memorable experience.
The application period is now open through October 7, 2022. There are six (6) open positions on the twelve-member board. This opportunity to serve is open to youth ages 16-21. (as of 10-31-22) Once appointed the term is two years. Members are required to contribute a minimum of thirty (30) volunteer hours before and during the fair. The purpose of the Jr. Board is to develop leadership and interpersonal skills as well as to expose youth to the many facets of the Delaware State Fair. A brief interview in late October may be required.
