This month, we started with a meeting covering old and new business. During our meeting, we saw a demonstration on how to answer questions at a fair. This demonstration included how to plant a gorgeous violet. After concluding our meeting, we started with a flower dissection and planted our very own violets to take home and care for. During our dissection, we learned the different parts of the flower called alstroemeria. These parts include the petals, sepals, stamen, and ovary. We were so excited to take home a violet at the end of the day.

Kindness Matters
The Kindness Matters Club was busy as usual! They participated in the Woodworking Workshop, practiced for the Demonstration Contest and visited Arlington National Cemetery and Fort McHenry.
