Porter Gang
At this month’s meeting, we started with our pledges and celebrated birthdays in March. Afterwards, we talked about upcoming events, like the State Fair and Litter Barrel. We also covered old business, like the day camps. We did S.T.E.A.M activities too! The first activity we did was to show how sticky water molecules are by dropping water droplets on a shiny penny and seeing how many we could fit. Obviously, we had a paper towel under since we were using water. We had another activity to do too! We all got a kit and made things that flew, drove, and even ziplined if you applied one of Newton’s laws, an object will not change its motion unless a force acts upon it. It was a really productive meeting and a fun experience in the short time we had!
