As you may know, April is Volunteer Service month. National 4-H is launching the annual True Leaders in Service initiative, a way for members to say “thank you” to their communities all month long!
We are encouraging youth and adults to venture into the community to lend a helping hand through neighborhood clean-up, beautification projects and much more! Some examples of community service activities could be:
- Beach Clean Ups
- Adopt a Highway
- Clean up flower beds for an elderly neighbor
- Dash for a Draft 5K on April 8 in Milton
- Big Fish Grill 5K on April 30 in Rehoboth
- Ag Day on April 29 in Newark
