Successful lambing and kidding is critical to the profitability of sheep and goat operations. Lambing and kidding is one of the most stressful time periods during small-ruminant production.
The Delaware Extension Small Ruminant team is pleased to present this session. Dr. Pelzer will cover:

  • Stages of lambing/kidding
  • How to handle lambing or kidding problems – When and how to intervene
  • How to deliver healthy lambs and kids
  • Health issues during gestation and after lambing or kidding
