Each year one exceptional and leading researcher in the field of fNIRS is awarded the Outstanding Early Investigator Award. At the 2018 fNIRS conference in Tokyo, Japan our BOLD Lab Principle Investigator, Kaja Jasinska, was named 2018 Outstanding Early Investigator. Her research focuses on how children in rural Ivory Coast develop necessary language skills for reading and cognitive skills.
