WordPress will be upgraded at 8am on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014 to version 3.8.
This version includes many refinements and enhancements which are described at http://wordpress.org/news/2013/12/parker/.
- Redesigned admin area, usable on large and small screens
- Admin color schemes
- Refined theme selection and widget selection areas
- Twenty Fourteen, a new magazine-style theme
The upgrade should only last a few minutes and your site should continue to display throughout the process.
