Teaching

Christina Barbieri has experience teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level in the content areas of Cognition and Learning as well as Quantitative Methods. Her research provides insight into her teaching, employing principles from the learning sciences in her instructional approach such as frequent quizzing and feedback as well as involving students in error reflection to encourage deep learning and engagement.

Dr. Barbieri has taught pre-service teachers about cognition and student learning and has experience teaching in person and online. She has also taught and developed undergraduate and graduate level methods courses (e.g., Advanced Research Design for Causal Inference, Intermediate Regression and ANOVA, Multivariate Statistics) and continuously expands her quantitative skills through statistics workshops and seminars.
