Patrick is an Institute for Engineering Driven Health postdoctoral research fellow. He works on using advective assembly nozzles to improve the throughput of extrusion bioprinting. Prior to UD, Patrick received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, advised by Prof. Michelle Calabrese and Prof. Satish Kumar, where he studied the self-assembly and nonlinear flow behavior of poloxamer wormlike micelles. Outside of the lab, Patrick enjoys hiking, painting, and New York Times games.
