If you are using UD Capture for your course, you will see two new menu options in your Canvas course: My Media and Media Gallery.
My Media
Your private video repository that contains your all of your videos; no one but you can access your My Media content. Your My Media will always appear in all of your Canvas courses. Students also have their own My Media that contains their private videos. Videos in My Media are shared with your UD Capture Space account and are accessible in both locations.
Media gallery
A shared repository that is specific to a Canvas course allowing your students and anyone else who has access to your Canvas course (such as a teaching assistants) to view and publish videos. You can add videos to the course Media Gallery one of two ways.
- Publish from your My Media.
- Uploading new videos directly to the Media Gallery, a shortcut for uploading to your My Media and Publishing to Media Gallery. Use the Add New option in Media Gallery to begin.
