“Due to Covid 19, we now offer students by appointment access to the pantry. We are located at St Thomas’s Episcopal Church at 276 South College, which is right off campus. In addition to non-perishable foods and some gluten free options we also offer hygiene supplies. If you or someone you know is a UD student or member of the UD community and would like to visit BHB, please email me, Denise Burgher at dburgher@udel.edu or Cana at, cana.hartman@gmail.com to schedule an appointment. Tips for Online Coursework

Due to coronavirus (COVID19), coursework has been transitioned to online to support course continuity. For updates and additional resources, please visit www.udel.edu/coronavirus. The website provides extensive resources for online and remote learning.

Here are some tips as you transition to online learning:

  • Create a dedicated workspace
  • Structure your time
  • Minimize distractions
  • Stay mentally engaged
  • Engage with other students… virtually
  • Use campus resources and ask for help
  • Take a break!

Graduating Sophomores: Declare your major!

ATTENTION GRADUATING SOPHOMORES!

To prepare for your transition to main (Newark) campus, it is important for you to declare your major.

All expected graduates must declare a major by Wednesday, April 8, 2020.  (If you do not declare by that date, a registration hold will be placed on your account.)

Are you interested in a restricted major?

Check restricted major requirements and deadlines. If you do not meet the requirements, please meet with your advisor to discuss your options.

Please follow the instructions to declare your major:

  • Log into UDSIS
  • In forms, click “Change major, minor, concentration”
  • On the form:
  • Input your phone number using format nnn-nnn-nnnn
  • Next to Associate in Arts, Click “Keep” in pull-down menu
  • Select your new major
  • Select graduation term at least two years from now
  • Click “Add line”
  • Click “Next”
  • For reason, state that you are graduating from the Associate in Arts Program and selecting a major.
  • Click “Submit Form”

Spring Into Success Conference 2020

Are you transitioning to main campus in Spring 2020?

Spring Into Success is a free 2 day conference with workshops, panels, and presentations geared towards helping students set goals and have a successful Spring semester. The conference will be held February 7th & 8th, 2020, and is open to all first-year students and upper division students living on campus. Our workshops and sessions can help you with personal, professional, academic, and leadership goals that you have for the coming semester. The Spring into Success conference is also a great chance to meet other students on campus, reconnect with peers from the fall semester, and connect with new opportunities at UD.
