Elections Coming Up!
Our annual officer elections are coming up! At the meeting tomorrow, November 29th, the current officers will explain what they do in their roles and we will be taking nominations for officers next year! Voting will take place at our December meeting.

Upcoming Events This Fall!
We have a few great events coming up for this fall semester!
First, we’d love to have some volunteers to help with the First State section of ASHE for their annual golf outing on Wednesday, September 14th. This outing is a great way to meet professionals and it acts as a fundraiser for their scholarship fund so any help would be appreciated! We will also be having a BBQ together with the First State section on September 23rd and we would love as many students there as possible!
This semester, we plan to have tours for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, the construction of 301, the Traffic Management Center (TMC), and the Rinker Plant! Contact Emily Robison (erobison@udel.edu), VP of Events, if you have any questions.

American Society of Highway Engineers First General Meeting
- Thursday, September 10 at 5:00 PM in DuPont 302
- Meeting to discuss upcoming events this semester.
- Free pizza will be served and there will be attendance gift cards!
American Society of Highway Engineers Annual BBQ with the First State Section
- Thursday, Sept 24 at 5:00 PM, at White Clay Creek State Park (Carpools will be available)
- BBQ will feature Hamburgers and Hotdogs on the grill, chips and other BBQ sides, yards games, and a great time!!
- Opportunity to network with students, professors, and local professionals in a laid back atmosphere!
